I’m honored and excited to join the NaNoWriMo Writers Board alongside talented novelists Maureen Johnson, Scott Westerfeld, Hugh Howey, Gennifer Albin, Marissa Meyer, Mitali Perkins, Melissa Anelli, and Niall Leonard. * throws confetti & writing fairy dust * NaNoWriMo is the push so many writers need to get started and make their writing dreams come true (even if it’s a dream that involves pouring your guts onto the page).

But did you know that NaNoWriMo also has classroom resources and initiatives for young writers? I would’ve killed to have known about this back when I was still in the classroom!
