UNMARKED Nominated for Bram Stoker Award

nom

I am so excited and honored to share that Unmarked (The Legion Series: Book 2) has been nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a Young Adult Novel. Unbreakable was nominated last year, so I feel incredibly lucky.

As a huge geek and horror, science fiction, and fantasy fan, there is no higher honor than being nominated for an award previously won by authors like Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling, and Neil Gaiman.

Huge thanks to the Horror Writers Association, whose members have acted as mentors and a constant source of inspiration; the HWA members and all the readers who have supported me; and my editor Erin Stein, who worked tirelessly to make Unmarked better. Congratulations to the other authors in the Young Adult category — my friend Tonya Hurley, and authors Jake Bible, John Dixon, and Peter Adam Salomon, whom I look forward to meeting — and all the other nominees!

I can’t wait to see you all at the World Horror Convention in May!
